🚨 We’re Hiring: Commercial Insurance Manager 🚨
We’re looking for a Commercial Insurance Manager to join our growing business and play a key role in driving team performance, developing talent, strengthening insurer relationships and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
🔹 The Role As Commercial Insurance Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of commercial insurance brokers, while ensuring we continue to deliver excellent client outcomes and achieve our business objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead, coach and mentor junior and experienced brokers
- Develop and deliver structured training programmes
- Drive new business, renewal retention and income targets
- Monitor team performance, KPIs and quality standards
- Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters
- Support brokers with complex and difficult-to-place risks
- Ensure FCA, compliance and internal quality standards are consistently maintained
- Review and improve processes, procedures and Fact Finds
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Produce meaningful daily, weekly and monthly performance reports
- Support client visits, sales presentations and insurer meetings
- Lead by example and help the team get challenging risks over the line

🔹 What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone with:
- 6+ years’ commercial insurance brokerage experience
- Previous management, leadership, coaching or mentoring experience
- Extensive knowledge of the Commercial Insurance market
- Strong relationships with insurers and underwriters
- Excellent negotiation, objection handling and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of FCA requirements and compliance
- A proven ability to work towards and exceed targets
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and diary management skills
- Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and insurance platforms
- A proactive, motivational and “can-do” attitude
- CII qualification or progress towards CII would be advantageous
