Are you an Engineering Graduate with a curiosity for Commercial/Project Management?

We are delighted to say we are recruiting for a Commercial/Project Manager Internship to join our Commercial and Project management department within our Services Division. You will be based at our site in Loughborough and the contract will be a 1 year Fixed Term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to get some real hands-on experience within a growing and sector leading business.

Within this role you will:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with various teams across a multitude of functions across Commercial Management and/or Project Management.
  • Gain hands-on experience through challenging projects and analyze data to help drive outcomes.
  • Learn from some of the brightest and most innovative minds in the business.
  • Network with a variety of talented professionals.

Within the internship you will:

  • Conduct data collection, use this data to provide meaningful analysis within the business.
  • Learn to apply data-driven analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Support in developing our services Execution Strategy aligned with the pipeline for Upgrade/complex opportunities within a 3-5 year horizon, laying out each Opportunity's direction, defining initial key problem areas to Bid/Win.
  • Support on process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence.
  • Support on product qualification process.
  • Have the opportunity to learn and execute Lean Six Sigma tools and make positive impact to the business.
  • Conduct data collection and learn to apply data-driven analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Get exposure to Power generation repair workshop machinery & operating technologies.

  • You can be midway through your Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial).
  • You can be a recent Graduate from an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial).
  • You should have excellent IT skills, with a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

  • A natural problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work well as a member of a team.
  • Possesses an inquisitive and continuous improvement mindset – seeks to grow knowledge and ability.
