Overview
This role is based within GMIB, a recently acquired business that forms part of Gallagher Ireland, offering the opportunity to join a growing team backed by one of the world's leading insurance brokerage and risk management organisations. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of Commercial Insurance clients, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering tailored insurance solutions, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

How you'll make an impact
In this role, you’ll take ownership of managing a portfolio of Commercial Insurance clients. You’ll be the primary contact for client servicing, renewals, and policy changes, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care. From preparing renewal documentation to liaising with insurers and underwriters, you’ll ensure every detail is handled efficiently. You’ll also provide clear advice on insurance products, negotiate terms, and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with Senior Account Managers on complex accounts and share knowledge across the team. By staying up to date with market developments and regulatory requirements, you’ll ensure clients receive the best possible service.
About you
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building positive relationships.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in dealing with clients, colleagues, and insurers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the Commercial Insurance sector.
- Teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to new processes and systems.
- Previous insurance experience is advantageous, but not essential.
- APA qualification or working towards APA is beneficial.
