GS Catering Equipment Ltd

GS Catering Equipment Ltd is a leading commercial catering design, supply and installation specialist delivering projects throughout the UK. We work with main contractors, consultants, architects, local authorities, healthcare providers, education establishments and hospitality operators to provide innovative commercial kitchen solutions.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an AutoCAD Kitchen Designer to join our Design Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic designer to contribute to high-profile commercial catering projects whilst developing expertise in emerging digital design technologies including Revit and BIM.

The Role

The AutoCAD Kitchen Designer is responsible for producing accurate, compliant and commercially effective kitchen designs from concept through to installation. Working closely with Directors, Project Managers, Main Contractors, Consultants and Clients, you will transform project requirements into practical and innovative commercial kitchen solutions.

You will play a key role in supporting both pre-contract and post-contract activities, ensuring designs are delivered accurately, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, legislation and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Delivery

  • Develop commercial kitchen layouts using Specifi, AutoCAD and associated design platforms.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, service drawings and M&E coordination information.
  • Support the development and implementation of Revit and BIM workflows across the business.
  • Create accurate equipment schedules, service schedules and associated design documentation.
  • Review architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings to ensure design compatibility.
  • Ensure all designs comply with current legislation, standards and client requirements.
  • Maintain drawing registers and document control systems in accordance with company procedures.
  • Identify and proactively resolve design clashes, coordination issues and technical risks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
