Commercial/Corporate Counsel

We are seeking experienced Commercial/Corporate Counsel to join a newly established interim legal team supporting the UK and EMEA business of a global, market-leading consumer brand for a 4-6 month contract role.

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a high-performing legal team during a significant period of transformation. You will provide commercially focused legal advice to a diverse range of stakeholders while helping ensure the seamless delivery of legal support across the region. The role offers excellent exposure to senior business leaders and a broad variety of commercial matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide practical, commercial legal advice to business stakeholders across the UK and EMEA.
  • Advise on a broad range of commercial and operational matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
  • Support licensing and franchise arrangements, including renewals and ongoing advisory work.
  • Advise on supply chain, sourcing and procurement matters.
  • Support strategic business initiatives and commercial transactions.
  • Identify legal and commercial risks and provide pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with senior legal colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver timely legal support.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Strong in-house or private practice experience advising on commercial law matters.
  • Experience supporting international businesses is advantageous.
  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating within a wider legal team.
  • Available to start in September 2026.
