Commercial Counsel
Interim role – 3 months- ASAP start
Our client is a high growth software platform looking for support from an experienced commercial lawyer to focus on procurement and partnerships, running vendor contracts as well as partner deals.
What you'll do
- Own the buy side end-to-end and lead partnership deals
- Coordinate the review chain across other functions keeping a tiering model that balances speed and scrutiny
- Build the tools that scale legal
- Track emerging regulation (EU AI Act, GDPR, the Data Act, DORA) and translate it into practical contract positions
What you bring
- Strong commercial legal experience, including 3+ years in SaaS or AI (ideally Series B–D), with a track record closing high value vendor and partner deals
- Strong buy-side and privacy expertise
- Solid grasp of AI governance and how to allocate EU AI Act obligations in contract language
- Real partnership/channel judgment and strong cross-functional instincts
