Commercial Lawyer Secondment Opportunity
Join our global marketing and communications client as a Commercial Lawyer on a secondment basis. This role will support a broad range of commercial, advertising, technology and business operations matters across a dynamic and fast-paced business. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with creative, media, data and technology teams, providing pragmatic legal advice while acting as a trusted day-to-day business advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements supporting media planning, media buying and related business activities.
- Act as the day-to-day legal partner to creative business teams, providing practical and commercially focused legal guidance.
- Advise on advertising and marketing clearance matters, including content usage, intellectual property rights, publication and promotional activities.
- Support data, technology and digital marketing initiatives, identifying and addressing legal and commercial risks.
- Provide legal support in connection with IT, procurement and third-party service provider agreements.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE.
- Demonstrable experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented advice in a fast-paced in-house environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and contract negotiation skills.
- Exposure to advertising, media, marketing, technology, data privacy or digital services matters advantageous.
- Experience advising on rights clearance, content usage, intellectual property or publication-related issues is advantageous.

Working Arrangement
- Secondment Engagement
- Expected 6-to-9-month duration.
- Option to work fully remote anywhere in the UK or 2 days hybrid out of London.
