The Role

These include Victoria’s Secret, Joules, The GAP, Reiss, Made.com, Cath Kidston, Bath & Body Works, FatFace, Seraphine and Russell & Bromley. What You Will Take On
This role is ideal for a commercial lawyer who brings a solid foundation in contract negotiation and wants to broaden their expertise across intellectual property, legal compliance, and regulatory law.

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including concession and licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, purchasing terms, IP licences, and consultancy agreements.
- Advise internal colleagues on commercial legal requirements, ensuring practical and solution-focused guidance.
- Develop expertise across intellectual property law by handling non-contentious IP and managing pre-action dispute matters.
- Provide regulatory and legal compliance support, including advice on consumer law, competition law, pricing, advertising claims, and product recalls.
- Mentor legal assistants by reviewing standard contract templates, guiding trademark checks, and assisting with contract management.

What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must be authorized to practice law by the Law Society or the Bar Council of England & Wales.
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales)
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- The ability to work at a fast pace, manage competing priorities, and thrive under pressure.
- A clear desire to expand your legal knowledge into IP, consumer law, and regulatory compliance.
- A pragmatic, commercial mindset that delivers practical solutions for internal teams.
- Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to role-model great practice across the legal and compliance team.
- Confidence using and adopting modern legal technology.
