Commercial Solicitor (Interim)
We are seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join a leading legal team on an interim basis.
The role will support a large-scale contract review project, involving reviewing and analysing contract summaries against the underlying agreements to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Location: London – Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Contract: Locum / Interim – Initially 3 months
Start: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal reviews of contract summaries against underlying contracts on a large scale.
- Analyse and interpret complex commercial agreements and contractual provisions.
- Identify discrepancies, key contractual terms and relevant legal issues.
- Ensure contract summaries accurately reflect the terms and obligations set out in the underlying documentation.
- Work efficiently and accurately as part of a high-volume legal review project.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 1–4 years' PQE (although candidates outside this range may also be considered).
- Strong experience in commercial contracting and/or TMT contracting.
- Experience analysing, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial and technology contracts.
- Experience with technology and services agreements, SaaS agreements and similar commercial arrangements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review large volumes of contractual documentation accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing high-volume legal review work.
