Commercial Lawyer (EMEA) | Part-Time | 4-6 Month Contract
We're partnering with a well-known international consumer brand seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join its EMEA legal team on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, international legal function supporting a diverse range of commercial and operational matters across multiple European jurisdictions.
Start Date: October
Duration: 4-6 months
Working Pattern: Part-time / flexible (open to secondment or on-call arrangements)
Engagement Model: Employed models only
The Opportunity
You'll provide commercial legal support across EMEA, helping the business navigate a broad range of operational and retail-related matters. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts across EMEA
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating facilities management agreements
- Supporting construction and development-related projects and contracts
- Advising on procurement, supplier and service agreements
- Providing legal support on franchising and licensing arrangements
- Supporting commercial matters relating to retail operations and infrastructure
- Working closely with stakeholders across various European markets, including France, Germany and Italy
- Reviewing and advising on agreements governed by different European legal systems
- Delivering pragmatic, business-focused legal advice with minimal supervision
About You
You will be a qualified lawyer with approximately 5-6 years' PQE and strong commercial contracts experience gained in-house or in private practice.

We're particularly interested in candidates who:
- Hold a legal qualification in France or another European jurisdiction
- Have strong commercial contracting and negotiation skills
- Are comfortable handling a broad and varied workload
- Can quickly get up to speed in unfamiliar subject areas
- Have exposure to construction, facilities management, procurement, retail or operational contracts
- Have experience supporting work across multiple European jurisdictions
- Are confident working independently and managing stakeholders directly
- Take a pragmatic, commercially-minded approach to legal advice
