Company Overview

Here at Eagle Eye Innovations, we pride ourselves on being the only company specialising in all genres and classifications of drone technology. Our EEI Academy instructors have over 120 years of military experience and thousands of amassed operating hours on a wide variety of drones in both a commercial and operational setting.

We have expertise on all matters relating to drones, drone training and drone surveying within our team ranging from sub 25kg aircrafts, such as the Mavic Mini, through to the MQ-9 Reaper and other Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) aircrafts. We have been operating both nationally and globally since 2013 and are the longest running drone training and consultancy organisation in the United Kingdom.

Our team is the most experienced available within the industry and we are passionate about driving and delivering our vision; to enable safe RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) operations for the world.

Our team of professionals span the full spectrum of RPAS operations and we take pride in the fact that we place our people, and our culture, at the heart of our business.

Role Overview

As Commercial Lead for Technical Services at Eagle Eye Innovations (EEI), you will shape and drive the commercial success of one of the company’s most dynamic and fast-growing divisions. This is a role for someone who thrives on building relationships, crafting compelling service offerings and turning complex client needs into clear, valuable commercial outcomes.

You will lead the commercial strategy for our Technical Services portfolio, covering consultancy, regulatory support and assurance services—ensuring our propositions are competitive, well-structured and positioned for long-term growth.

Whilst you will work closely with technical and regulatory experts, your focus is on commercial performance, client value and strategic decision-making rather than deep technical delivery.

What you will be doing

  • Leading the commercial development of EEI’s Technical Services offering, shaping services that meet market needs and drive sustainable growth.
  • Owning client relationships end-to-end; from first conversation through to contract award and delivery—acting as the primary commercial point of contact.
  • Developing, pricing and negotiating proposals that clearly define scope, manage risk and deliver strong margins.
  • Collaborating with technical SMEs to ensure bids and documentation are accurate, compliant and commercially robust.
  • Providing commercial leadership around regulatory frameworks (including Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA)), ensuring services are positioned and delivered in a controlled, value driven way.
  • Building and managing a healthy commercial pipeline, identifying new opportunities and emerging trends across the RPAS sector.
  • Assessing and managing commercial risk, escalating issues and recommending mitigation strategies where appropriate.
  • Representing EEI at client meetings, industry events, regulatory forums and exhibitions.
  • Ensuring all commercial activity aligns with EEI’s governance, Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
