About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lead to join our growing team supporting major hyperscale data centre projects across the UK, Germany, or Norway. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global construction consultancy on some of the world's most advanced digital infrastructure developments for leading hyperscale clients.
These projects involve the delivery of cutting-edge facilities supporting AI, cloud computing, and next-generation technologies. The role requires substantial experience in large-scale data centre projects, with particular emphasis on hyperscale environments and complex commercial management.

As a Commercial Lead, You Will
- Lead and manage commercial teams across multiple project locations, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for client stakeholders, building strong relationships and maintaining effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Robustly defend downstream claims and manage change, ensuring contractual obligations are met and accurately reported.
- Provide strategic commercial oversight while remaining hands-on with key project activities to protect financial performance and long-term project success.
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support key account management activities and contribute to the continued growth of our data centre business across the EMEA region.
We Are Looking for Experience in the Following Skills
- Legal right to work in the UK, Germany, or Norway.
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale hyperscale data centre projects.
- Proven experience leading commercial teams on major construction or engineering projects.
- Strong client-facing, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience managing contracts, defending claims, and reporting commercial change.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery.
- Experience operating in international and multicultural project environments.

Work Arrangement
- Flexible location within the UK, Germany, or Norway.
- Travel to project sites across Europe will be required, with regular on-site presence depending on project needs.
- Home-based with periodic travel to client sites and regional offices.
