Job Description
As a key driver of Chambers' expansion into the GC/legal buyside community, you will work closely with our Commercial and Product teams, and collaborate with Research and Strategy, to shape how Chambers' offering evolves for in-house audiences.
This is a client-facing role, where you are expected to forge and deepen relationships with prospective clients, and help develop and drive a commercial proposition for the GC/in-house community. This is a high-profile position with significant potential for career development, offering the chance to help define a strategic new direction for the business.
As one of the first dedicated sales hires for this product, this position will suit an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, who thrives in an early-stage environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support development of value proposition for the legal buyside/GC community, working cross-functionally.
- Develop commercial relationships with co-creating/pilot partners, so that our products are customer-driven.
- Achieve sales targets and build playbook for scaling of proposition.
- Scale sales team as business grows to maximise conversion of addressable opportunity.
- Strengthen existing relationships whilst proactively forging new relationships with strategic stakeholders within the legal buy side (e.g. GCs, Legal Ops, C-level legal-function owners).
- Meet prospects and clients face-to-face where possible. The role will likely require travelling a few times a year to develop the right relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams including ELT, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Events, Research to ensure the client experience is aligned with the value of the Chambers brand.

As a brand/company, our products have the best reputation across all Legal markets the world over, the decision maker’s door is always open.
We operate a hybrid working model, with the Sales team based in our Fleet Street office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Team members typically work remotely on the remaining days, though desks are available to book in the office on Tuesdays and Fridays if desired.
Skills and Qualifications
- A track record of success (results, behaviours and mindset) in previous enterprise-level sales or account management positions.
- Experience in similar, complex sales environments targeting the legal function in medium and large corporations. Including face-to-face pitching/presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Resilient and adaptable, comfortable operating in a fast-paced and performance-driven sales environment.
- Growth mindset with a “no limits” attitude, constantly looking for ways to improve performance and unlock new opportunities.
- Ability to manage commercial relationships strategically, balancing short and long-term goals.
- Creative problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business requirements into value propositions.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
