I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Some deals will be audience based media buys. Others will be six-figure sponsorships combining branded content, talent, media and technology. You’ll need to be confident selling both.
You’ll also help take new inventory to market as we add creator and channel partner properties to our existing sports networks and expand into entertainment, gaming, culture and other high-engagement categories.
What We Need
We’re looking for an established media salesperson with a strong network and a proven ability to generate significant revenue.
You’ll ideally bring:
- 7+ years in media, advertising, sponsorship or partnerships sales
- Strong relationships across media agencies and brands
- Experience selling digital video, social, creator-led media or premium content
- A strong understanding of CPMs, audiences, inventory and campaign measurement
- Experience creating and selling integrated sponsorships
- A track record of consistently hitting ambitious revenue targets
- The ability to open doors and create opportunities, not simply respond to briefs
- Experience working with international media partners or sales houses
- The commercial judgement to choose the right direct and partner-led routes to market
