About Terre Délice
Terre Délice is the consumer brand of the TORQ Commodities group, an established international agri commodities business with its own supply chain from the farm through to the finished pack. The brand offers premium flavoured cashew and popped fox nut, built on a genuine farm to shelf story. We only enter products where we control the supply chain, because that is what lets us guarantee the quality and the traceability.
Terre Délice launches in the UK in January 2027, initially through direct-to-consumer and online marketplace channels before expanding into grocery and wholesale. This is a rare opportunity to join at launch stage and take ownership of a fully backed consumer brand with significant growth ambitions across the UK and Europe.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven leader to build and grow Terre Délice across the UK and Europe.
This is not a corporate management role. It is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of a new consumer brand, drive market entry, develop distribution, lead commercial strategy and build a high-performing team from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a consumer brand built on decades of investment and expertise. TORQ has already established everything behind the scenes that most brands spend years trying to build: sourcing, manufacturing, international logistics and financial infrastructure. Terre Délice is where that capability comes to life as a consumer brand, with the UK as its first market.
You will own the business commercially. From customers and distribution to channels, growth and performance, you will be responsible for turning a fully backed launch into a successful and scalable brand.
The role is dedicated exclusively to the growth of the Terre Délice consumer brand and sits separately from the group's edible nuts trading and business-to-business commodity operations, which are managed by other divisions.
Your initial focus will be the United Kingdom, with responsibility for expanding into Europe as the business grows. With an established European trading presence and local teams already in place, international expansion is supported by existing infrastructure rather than a standing start. As Terre Délice scales, both the UK and European markets will fall within your remit, giving you the opportunity to shape and lead the brand's next stage of growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Distribution. This is the heart of the role. Terre Délice is new to the United Kingdom, so you decide how it reaches the market and you build it the way you think it should be built. Open and win cash and carries, wholesalers, grocery multiples, health food chains and convenience. Own the listings, the trade terms and the negotiation. Your relationships and your judgement set the pace of the whole business.
- Launch & Digital Channels. Lead the United Kingdom launch across our own site, Amazon, eBay and TikTok Shop. Drive acquisition, conversion and repeat purchase. Direct to consumer comes first in the sequence, and you will shape that plan with the Founder.
- Brand & Marketing Delivery. Agree the segment plan with the Founder and execute it in market. Direct brand and marketing delivery in the United Kingdom across social, influencer, public relations and performance marketing. Manage the appointed creative agency and bring in the specialist support you need.
- Pricing & Promotion. Own the price architecture across channels, and the promotional plan.
- Commercial Performance. Deliver the revenue, the volume and the margin targets agreed with the Founder. Report monthly, in commercial terms, with a clear view of what is working and what is not. The group finance team runs the reporting, so you spend your time on the market rather than on spreadsheets.
- Team Building. Build the United Kingdom commercial team around you, beginning with social and e-commerce, and grow it as the business grows.
- European Expansion. Extend the distribution and the marketplace presence into the European markets, working alongside group colleagues already operating there.
Essential
- At least 8+ years of experience within consumer food, FMCG or related categories, with a proven track record of launching, growing or scaling brands in the UK through multiple sales channels.
- Demonstrable success in winning and developing distribution opportunities across cash & carries, wholesalers and grocery retailers. We are particularly interested in individuals who have personally opened and secured key accounts rather than inherited existing relationships.
- Hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels, particularly Amazon, with exposure to TikTok Shop considered highly beneficial.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning revenue, margin, pricing and trade terms.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine desire to build rather than maintain. This is a role for someone who enjoys the autonomy of a founder-led business and is happy to do the work personally.
- Experience managing creative, media or performance marketing agencies.
- Full right to work in the United Kingdom and either be based in London or willing to relocate. The role will involve travel across the UK and Europe as the business expands.

- A fully integrated supply chain, from farm sourcing through to flavouring, roasting, packing and finished product production.
- A comprehensive brand strategy, product range and launch roadmap developed in partnership with an external brand and launch consultancy. You will inherit a clear plan and strong foundation rather than starting from a blank page.
- A creative agency already engaged and working on the brand.

- An established European trading network, with experienced colleagues on the ground to support launch, expansion and ongoing growth.
