About Perspective Financial Group

Perspective is a growing financial planning and wealth management group with an active acquisition strategy and a strong focus on delivering high-quality advice to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to develop their in-house legal career within a supportive legal team, gaining exposure to a broad mix of commercial, property, regulatory, and transactional work while contributing to the Group’s continued growth.

About the Role

Perspective Financial Group is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal support across the business. The role will focus on commercial contracts, property-related matters, day-to-day legal advice, and support for the Group’s M&A activity.

The role will report to the Group’s General Counsel and work closely with colleagues across operations, finance, compliance, property, and M&A. The successful candidate will build strong internal relationships and provide practical, risk-based legal advice that supports commercial decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Supporting the development of legal processes, contract templates, and playbooks to improve consistency, efficiency, and risk management across the business.
  • Providing general support to the Group’s M&A activity.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, relevant laws, and regulations.
  • Managing and coordinating with external legal counsel as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE and strong commercial experience, ideally gained in a private practice setting or with another in-house legal team.

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage own workload and multiple priorities.
