Commercial Litigation Associate
Location: Bristol
PQE: Associate level (commercial litigation experience required)
Salary: Competitive
Yolk Recruitment is working with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its established team in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigator looking to take the next step in their career, joining a collaborative team handling a broad range of complex and high-quality disputes for commercial and corporate clients.
You'll manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced Partners and colleagues on larger, more complex matters. With a strong reputation in the market and a supportive team environment, this role offers an excellent platform to develop your expertise, build client relationships and progress your career.
The Role
You'll be involved in a varied range of commercial disputes, including:
- Contractual disputes and professional negligence claims.
- Banking and financial disputes.
- Intellectual property and defamation matters.
- Fraud and procurement disputes.
- Partnership and shareholder disputes.
Managing your own caseload from initial instruction through to resolution.

About You
We're keen to hear from solicitors who have:
- Experience in general commercial litigation.
- Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A strong commitment to client service and developing lasting relationships.
- Commercial awareness, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for litigation.
- The ambition to develop their profile and build a long-term career within a successful disputes team.
You'll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively but is also confident taking responsibility for your own matters.
