Commercial Litigation Lawyer – Product Liability & Product Safety

Contract: 12-month interim contract
Working Pattern: 4 days per week
Location: Fully remote

About the Role

Our customer, a leading international consumer goods business, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its in-house legal team on a 12-month interim basis.

The role will focus on commercial litigation, product liability and product safety, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice to the business and supporting the management of disputes, investigations and pre-litigation matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer with relevant product liability and/or product safety experience to join a global business on a fully remote basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise the business on a broad range of commercial litigation and contentious matters.
  • Advise on product liability and product safety issues, including assessing legal risk and potential exposure.
  • Support the management of litigation, investigations, claims and pre-litigation matters.
  • Work closely with and manage external counsel where required.
  • Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Assess dispute risk and support the development and implementation of appropriate litigation strategies.
  • Assist with dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
  • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments relating to product liability and product safety, advising the business on potential implications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
