Commercial Litigation Solicitor – UK Interim Opportunities

Contract: Interim opportunities – typically 3–12 months
Working Pattern: 4–5 days per week
Location: UK – Remote & Hybrid Opportunities

About the Opportunity

We are building a network of experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyers with strong experience across commercial disputes, product liability, and product safety for upcoming interim opportunities with leading UK and international businesses.

These assignments will suit lawyers who can provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and are comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders, managing disputes and investigations, and working with external counsel where required.

Depending on the client and assignment, opportunities may be fully remote or hybrid, with some roles requiring occasional attendance at locations including London or Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:

  • Advising businesses on a broad range of commercial litigation and contentious matters.
  • Advising on product liability and product safety issues, including legal risk and potential exposure.
  • Managing and supporting litigation, claims, investigations, and pre-litigation matters.
  • Developing and implementing appropriate dispute and litigation strategies.
  • Working with and managing external legal counsel.
  • Supporting dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
  • Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Advising on relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting product liability and product safety.
  • Working independently and managing competing priorities within fast-paced in-house legal teams.

Candidate Profile:

We are particularly interested in lawyers with:

  • Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales, or qualification in another common law jurisdiction with strong relevant UK experience.
  • Strong experience in commercial litigation and disputes.
  • Direct experience in product liability and/or product safety — this will be particularly important for relevant assignments.
  • Experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house legal environment.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to legal advice.
  • The ability to work autonomously and quickly integrate into an existing legal team.

Relevant PQE will vary depending on the assignment, although we are particularly interested in lawyers with 3+ years' PQE and strong relevant experience.

Working Arrangements

Our interim opportunities can vary in terms of location and working arrangements.

Roles may be:

  • Fully remote within the UK
  • Hybrid
  • Require occasional attendance in London, Bristol, or other UK locations
