Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Litigation Solicitor role based in Hale. The role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, and other business-related litigation. The successful candidate will advise clients on litigation strategy, draft and review pleadings and legal documents, prepare evidence and witness statements, and conduct legal research to support complex matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include attending client meetings, liaising with counsel and other professionals, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution forums. The role also includes contributing to business development activities, maintaining accurate file records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Law, with a particular focus on Commercial Litigation and dispute resolution.
- Experience or working knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Conveyancing matters relevant to commercial disputes.
- Familiarity with Labor and Employment Law issues that arise in business-related litigation.
- Understanding of adjacent practice areas such as Family Law in a commercial context, where relevant.
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, with post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong client care skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and case management systems.
