Commercial Litigation Solicitor | Essex | £55,000–£85,000
An established and highly regarded Essex law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its busy and well-established Dispute Resolution team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to join a supportive, close-knit department with a strong pipeline of work, genuine career development and a flexible approach to working arrangements. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
The Role
You will manage a varied commercial litigation caseload, advising businesses and commercial clients on a range of contentious matters, including:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder, director and partnership disputes
- Commercial property disputes
- Debt recovery and enforcement
- Breach of contract and wider business disputes
You will work closely with experienced Partners and colleagues, managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution while developing client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the department.

About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Legal Executive with ideally 3+ years' litigation experience.
- Strong experience in Commercial Litigation or broader Civil Litigation with relevant commercial exposure.
- Confident managing your own caseload and advising clients directly.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and case-management skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality client service.
- Looking to develop within a supportive team that values collaboration and long-term progression.
What's on Offer?
- £55,000–£85,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Annual performance bonus of 10–20%, subject to performance criteria and a £20,000 cap.
- Full-time or part-time working considered.
- Hybrid working, typically two days from home.
