Commercial Litigation Solicitor (1-2 PQE)
Liverpool | Hybrid Working | Up to £52,000 DOE

A well-established commercial law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (1-2 PQE) to join its growing dispute resolution team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is ready to take ownership of their own caseload while benefiting from close support from experienced partners and senior lawyers.

Working within a collaborative team, you'll handle a broad range of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, debt recovery, shareholder and business disputes, and insolvency-related litigation.

The Role

  • Managing a varied commercial litigation caseload, including:
    • Commercial contract and business disputes
    • Insolvency and restructuring litigation
    • Debt recovery and enforcement matters
    • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Advising clients on litigation strategy from pre-action through to resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement documentation
  • Working closely with partners on more complex, high-value matters

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 1-2 years' PQE
  • Experience managing your own commercial litigation caseload
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Confident working independently while enjoying the support of a collaborative team
  • Experience of insolvency disputes would be advantageous but is not essential
