Commercial Litigation Solicitor | NQ–2 PQE
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £50,000–£60,000
Working Model: Hybrid working
About the Role
A good junior litigation role should give you the chance to get involved: to understand your clients, contribute to strategy and take increasing ownership of your work. We are exclusively instructed by an established Hampshire law firm looking to appoint a solicitor into its growing disputes practice. This is an opportunity to join a busy team where there is both work to get your teeth into and room to develop.
The practice handles a varied mix of commercial disputes, including contractual claims, shareholder and partnership disagreements, and professional negligence matters. You will work alongside experienced litigators, supporting more complex cases while building responsibility for matters appropriate to your experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
