We are looking for a skilled Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will:
- Review, draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of customer contracts, ensuring commercially balanced agreements that support business objectives while protecting company interests.
- Partner with Sales, Finance and Operations teams to develop effective commercial solutions and drive successful customer outcomes.
- Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, financial and operational risks across customer agreements and commercial opportunities.
- Ensure all contracts, bids and commercial activities comply with company policies, governance requirements and regulatory standards.
- Lead the preparation, coordination and submission of high-quality tenders, proposals and customer bids within agreed deadlines.
- Analyse tender documentation to identify commercial requirements, risks and opportunities, supporting the development of winning bid strategies.
- Develop and maintain pricing, profitability and financial models to evaluate commercial viability and support decision-making.
- Provide commercial insight and support during customer negotiations, helping to shape pricing structures, deal terms and contractual commitments.
- Act as a key commercial partner to the National Key Account team, supporting governance, approvals, order processing and the efficient progression of opportunities from lead to order.

Tasks and Qualifications:
We’re interested in candidates with:
- Proven experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating and redlining commercial contracts across a range of agreement types.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience preparing high-quality tender responses, bids and commercial proposals.
- Strong commercial acumen, supported by excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Finance, Operations and other cross-functional teams.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, with experience in pricing analysis, financial modelling and profitability assessment.
- Experience managing complex tenders and commercial opportunities, applying a logical and structured approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Understanding of legal and contractual principles, with experience identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing business needs.
- Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
