Commercial Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE) | Company Benefits

Location: Nottingham

Contract: Full Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

About Us:

Omega Red Group is the recognised UK market leader in earthing, lightning protection, and height safety protection.

Omega Red offers survey, design, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair solutions for earthing, lightning protection, surge protection and height safety. The business is passionate about protecting people, property, electrical equipment and systems, from the damaging effects of lightning strikes, electrical faults and surges.

The Role:

Omega Red Group is looking for a Commercial Manager to lead and optimise the commercial performance of two key business streams: our major projects contracting division and our recurring revenue compliance services business.

This is a high-impact role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on commercial leadership. You'll play a key part in protecting profitability, managing commercial risk, strengthening client relationships, and helping drive the next phase of business growth. You'll provide commercial leadership across:

  • Contracting Division: Delivering large-scale installation projects under NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
  • Recurring Revenue Division: Supporting compliance-led services including Power Earthing, Lightning Protection, and Height Safety, with a focus on customer retention, revenue growth, and long-term value.

Working closely with operational, finance, and project teams, you'll ensure strong commercial governance while identifying opportunities to improve performance and create sustainable growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
