Job Opportunity: Commercial Manager
We're delighted to be partnering with a growing ingredients business based in Northamptonshire. They already have a fantastic reputation in the market for quality and service, the company has a manufacturing site that has received significant investment and a wide array of customers to its name already.
They are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager who has experience within the B2B customer channel, selling into Food Manufacturing customers across the UK and beyond.
The Role:
The Commercial Manager is accountable for developing and driving the commercial agenda for the company. The role will be required to achieve the budgeted sales volume, ensuring cost and margin management in line with the company 5-year plan. The role will be responsible for delivering the customer strategy, building strong enduring stakeholder relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service while building the company's reputation and establishing it as the first choice supplier in the market.

This position will be at the center of leading a customer-focused culture within the business, always ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do while driving profitability and achieving long-term strategic goals.

- Commercially curious & strategic. Someone who spots market opportunities, understands competitive dynamics, and can translate insight into a clear sales strategy.
- Exceptional relationship builder. Confident engaging at all levels, with strong listening, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Data-led & commercially astute. Able to forecast realistically, understand sales and margin performance, and use insight to drive profitable growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset hungry to succeed. Proactive in creating opportunities and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong under pressure decisive. Analytical and able to negotiate effectively while maintaining sound judgment and integrity.
- Growth-focused leader. Experienced in developing businesses, customers, and high-performing commercial behaviors.
