We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Commercial Manager – Healthcare Services on a six-month secondment basis. This is your opportunity to join the Healthcare Business Unit in a growing function at an exciting time where the Healthcare Services we offer are rapidly extending and expanding. We are looking for an individual with strong commercial awareness, passion for detail, and the initiative to proactively drive forwards existing in-store Private Services, in particular working with our new and existing HealthCare Centre stores that deliver our highest volume of Private Services. We are looking for a leader who will creatively seek new opportunities and explore new ways of working.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial healthcare services delivery of new consultation room schemes, new Healthcare Centre stores, new Services delivery ensuring all are landed right first time.
  • Work collaboratively with the support office teams, stores, and stakeholders to ensure Stores are set up for success.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships within a number of internal teams to achieve this e.g. Layouts, Property, Marketing, IT, HR, Finance, Pharmacy Ops, and Field teams.
  • Deliver continuous improvements in the end-to-end ways of working for Healthcare Centre stores & all locations receiving incremental Pharmacist/Nurse investment.
  • Provides escalation support for our Healthcare Centre stores.
  • Support the IP strategy in Healthcare Centre Stores.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Ability to build relationships and engage & influence at all levels, both internally.
  • Planning skills & good time management.
  • Holding to account and getting buy-in.
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and change.

  • Self-motivation and flexibility.
  • Influencing.
  • Flexibility to travel.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience in a healthcare or retail environment.
  • A background in project management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
