Ready to take the next step in your commercial career? SJS Recruitment is partnering with an established UK food business looking for a commercially driven individual to accelerate growth across its Foodservice, Wholesale and Out-of-Home channels.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on execution, customer development and growth.
You'll be responsible for:
- Winning new business: Develop and convert opportunities with national and regional customers across Foodservice, Wholesale and Out-of-Home.
- Growing accounts: Build customer relationships, increase sales and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Opening new markets: Target opportunities across QSR, contract catering, education, healthcare, hospitality and convenience.
- Delivering results: Lead negotiations, manage pricing and tenders, and convert opportunities into profitable business.
- Leading the team: Motivate, support and develop the commercial team, setting clear priorities and ensuring everyone is focused on delivering results.
- Working collaboratively: Partner with customers and internal teams to develop propositions and deliver against commercial objectives.

Who We're Looking For
You'll have experience in Foodservice, Wholesale, FMCG or a related food business, with a track record of developing customers, winning business or growing accounts. You'll bring strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, commercial awareness and a proactive, hands-on approach. You'll also have the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team, creating accountability and a shared focus on commercial performance. You may already manage significant accounts or develop new business and be ready for broader responsibility, including team leadership. Equally, you could be an experienced commercial leader looking for a fresh challenge.

Location: UK-wide. Regular travel to the South West headquarters is expected, alongside customer visits and home working. Overnight stays can be accommodated, making this a realistic opportunity for candidates based further afield.
