Commercial Manager
Reading | Up to £85,000 + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
We are urgently seeking a Commercial Manager to join a growing construction business that designs & manufactures bespoke products for large Residential Developers.
This is an office-based role, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Sales, Design, and Manufacturing teams, as well as major house builders and principal contractors.
The role will focus heavily on contract review, commercial risk mitigation, contract negotiation and contract management, from pre-contract through to product delivery.

Key responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate project specific contracts and T&Cs with clients
- Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risk.
- Oversee project budgets, procurement and financial controls.
- Manage contract variations and contract administration.
- Provide commercial reporting and advice to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Liaise with Sales, Design and manufacturing to ensure contractual requirements are delivered.
- Manage commercial relationships with customers and contractors.

About you
- You should have 5+ years' construction sector experience within a Commercial or Procurement role
- Strong contract knowledge (JCT and/or NEC).
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to negotiate and manage commercial obligations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple contracts
