Commercial Manager – Major Infrastructure (Sizewell C)

Permanent | £85,000 + Company Vehicle or £7,000 Car Allowance | 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | 8% Pension | Life Assurance | Health Cash Plan

The Opportunity

A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to support long-term delivery on Sizewell C, including the design and build of three new wastewater treatment plants forming part of the site’s critical utilities infrastructure. This is a permanent role offering stability, progression, and the chance to work on a nationally significant project with decades of future work.

The contractor is expanding its commercial leadership team and is seeking someone with strong infrastructure, utilities, or water sector experience who can operate confidently within NEC-governed environments.

Key Requirements

  • MUST have NEC contract experience (NEC3 or NEC4)
  • Background in water, utilities, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing contracts governed by Primavera P6
  • Strong commercial reporting, forecasting, and change management capability
  • Ability to lead commercial governance across complex, multi-stakeholder programmes
  • SC clearance is ideal, but not essential – the contractor can sponsor this

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
