An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to support a growing international business across EMEA. This role will play a key part in driving commercial excellence, supporting business growth, and ensuring effective contract and risk management across a portfolio of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Negotiation & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead commercial involvement throughout bid, tender, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop effective negotiation strategies with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage commercial discussions with customers, legal teams, and key business leaders.
  • Secure commercially favourable contract outcomes while maintaining strong client relationships.

Commercial Governance & Compliance

  • Promote commercial best practice and contractual compliance across the business.
  • Support project and contract reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure commercial processes, documentation, and governance requirements are adhered to.
  • Assist with robust and timely order placement activities.

Commercial Advisory

  • Provide guidance on contractual obligations and commercial risks.
  • Support stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle, from tender stage through delivery.
  • Deliver training and commercial awareness initiatives across the business.
  • Support management teams with commercial and contractual advice.

Risk Management & Commercial Solutions

  • Analyse commercial challenges and provide practical solutions.
  • Drive commercially advantageous outcomes while protecting profitability.
  • Support dispute avoidance and resolution activities.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to maximise long-term value.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Support procurement teams in supplier negotiations and appointments.
  • Ensure appropriate risk transfer through supplier contracts.
  • Contribute to the negotiation of key supplier commercial agreements.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong commercial contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience operating within complex international or multi-site environments.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and commercial governance.
  • Experience working with procurement and supplier contracts.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard contract forms such as FIDIC is advantageous.
  • Experience within data centres, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related sectors is desirable.
