Commercial Manager
Our Client has been appointed as a principal contractor on a major new build project in North West London and is hiring a Commercial Manager for the £400million+ project. You will be reporting directly into the Commercial Director on the scheme.
As a Commercial Manager you will be responsible for subcontractor procurement services on the project. Ideal candidates will have exceptional NEC contract experience.
This is a major project with at least 6 years remaining on the scheme so a great opportunity for a long term project.

Duties
- Manage and keep updated subcontract tender events
- Manage and keep updated record of tenders
- Work closely with the Commercial Director and Head of Procurement to manage the subcontractor recommendation process
- Review the project procurement plan to secure deadlines for the procurement of subcontractors are met
- Have an outstanding knowledge of the standard NEC form of contracts

Candidates Require
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying
- A proven track record on working with NEC forms of contract and be confident in talking through these contracts
- Demonstrable and robust experience as a Commercial Manager with extensive subcontractor procurement experience within the construction sector
