đ° ÂŁ30,000âÂŁ50,000 DOE
đ Genuine progression | Direct exposure to senior leadership
Weâre partnering with a growing, owner-led workplace design & build business in Central London to find an ambitious Commercial Manager who wants to build a serious career in the commercial side of construction.
This isnât a role where youâll disappear into a large commercial team.
Youâll work closely with the Founder and senior team, taking real ownership across estimating, cost planning and pre-construction while getting exposure to the full journey of creative commercial fit-out projects.
For someone early in their career who is commercially sharp, confident with numbers and hungry to progress, thereâs a lot of opportunity here.
What youâll be doing:
- Producing detailed project cost plans and estimates
- Building cost breakdowns and budgets in Excel
- Obtaining and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Reviewing briefs, drawings and project documentation
- Managing commercial viability throughout pre-construction
- Working closely with designers, consultants and subcontractors
- Supporting procurement schedules and pre-contract programmes
- Attending client meetings, presentations and site visits
- Helping ensure projects transition smoothly from enquiry to delivery
- Protecting project margins through accurate estimating and smart commercial decisions

Iâm in my final year doing Economics and I donât know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer â it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donât need a masters. Letâs look at the ones youâd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet â that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
