Commercial Manager (Construction / Building Products)

£55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Progression + Company Vehicle + Hybrid work + Company Benefits

Are you a Commercial Manager or similar from a Construction / Building Products background looking for a technical role within a multi-million £ leading manufacturer who are undergoing a period of exciting growth and pride themselves on looking after and developing staff, offering the autonomy to make the role yours and to continually progress your career?

This leading company produces a range of products for use within the Roofing industry which they sell to a broad client base of clients across the UK, primarily Builders Merchants. They have seen continual growth since their establishment to the point that they have a turnover in excess of £22m and are now looking for a Commercial Manager to support the Operations Director with ongoing workload.

  • Reviewing and updating existing pricing agreements
  • Managing relationships with suppliers
  • Organising existing processes to implement improvements across the board
  • Preparing quotations and business proposals
  • Attending meetings with key suppliers to further relationships

This autonomous role would suit a Commercial Manager from a Construction or similar background looking for the chance to make a real impact on a leading business moving from strength-to-strength who offer a performance-based bonus and unrivalled progression opportunities.

The Role:

  • Review pricing and supplier agreements to update business processes
  • Attend meetings with key clients to renegotiate and further existing relationships
  • Liaise closely with Operations Director and senior members of the Sales team
  • Suggest and implement improvements
  • Prepare business proposals and quotes

The Person:

  • Commercial Manager or similar
  • Construction / Building Products / Builders Merchants background
  • Commutable to Liverpool
