Location – Buckinghamshire (5 days in office/site)
Salary – £75,000 - £95,000 + Package

I’m working with a highly successful, fast-growing workplace specialist based in Buckinghamshire that punches well above its weight. Operating with a tight-knit, collaborative culture, this ambitious business is consistently winning and delivering flagship commercial office fit-out schemes against some of the largest industry giants.
Due to a major strategic shift toward large-scale landlord-led developments, they are securing substantial multi-floor schemes with contract values stretching up to £10m. To support this growth, they are looking for a commercial lead who can own projects from initial tender and pre-construction right through to final account. The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing both pre-contract pricing/tendering and post-contract commercial management for major commercial office fit-out schemes up to £10m.
- Leading tender management, cost planning, and commercial proposals for large landlord multi-floor fit-out projects.
- Conducting detailed procurement, negotiation, and package management across sub-contractor and supplier networks.
- Managing monthly valuations, variations, cost reporting, and cash flow forecasts throughout the construction phase.
- Acting as the main commercial point of contact for landlord clients, project managers, and external consultants.
- Identifying commercial risks and value-engineering opportunities early in the pre-construction phase to optimize margins.
- Working closely with design and operational teams to ensure seamless project delivery and financial clarity.
- Driving final account negotiations and settlements to secure maximum profitability on all completed schemes.

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have a strong background in commercial office fit-out / Design & Build with a proven track record handling both pre-contract estimation and post-contract commercial delivery. Experience dealing with high-value landlord-led schemes or multi-floor office transformations will be a major advantage.
You’ll need to be commercially sharp, hands-on, and comfortable working 5 days a week across the office and live sites. If you thrive in a tight-knit, high-performing environment that wins big while retaining a personal touch, this position offers an exceptional career move.
