Foodservice Category Manager
The Foodservice Category Manager is responsible for developing and growing Fullers Foods International’s Foodservice channel, including pubs, restaurants, hotels, and catering groups. The role drives new business development, builds long-term client relationships, and delivers profitable growth across all food category ranges, including meats and poultry.
Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Buying, NPD, and Technical teams, the Foodservice Category Manager identifies market opportunities, shapes category strategy, and ensures Fullers’ offering meets the needs of Foodservice operators. The role combines sales leadership, category insight, and commercial execution to establish Fullers as a trusted supply partner within the Foodservice sector.

- Lead the development and execution of the Foodservice channel strategy, driving revenue growth and margin performance across all food category ranges.
- Identify, target, and win new business opportunities within pubs, restaurants, hotels, and catering groups.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted commercial partner across the Foodservice sector.
- Deliver profitable growth across the full product portfolio, including meats and poultry, ensuring strong commercial discipline.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities, and delivering against agreed growth targets.
- Shape and manage the Foodservice category proposition, ensuring product ranges meet operator needs and evolving market demand.
- Work closely with Commercial, Buying, and NPD to develop relevant private label and tailored solutions for Foodservice customers.
- Use market and competitor insight to identify emerging trends, menu innovation opportunities, and category gaps.
- Lead commercial negotiations with Foodservice customers, including pricing, supply terms, and long-term agreements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Technical teams to ensure service levels, quality standards, and operational feasibility.
- Represent Fullers at industry events, customer meetings, and sector forums to strengthen market presence.
- Provide regular performance reporting, forecasting, and insight to senior leadership.
