Synapri are working with a Government organisation looking for an experienced IT Commercial Manager to support the mobilisation, transition and governance of critical technology contracts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor with a background in public sector procurement, commercial contract management, supplier transition or IT service delivery to play a key role in ensuring the successful onboarding of new suppliers and the seamless exit of incumbent providers.

Responsibility:

  • Lead the mobilisation of new IT contracts, including supplier onboarding, governance, reporting and service readiness.
  • Manage transition plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, knowledge transfer and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate supplier exit activities, ensuring effective handovers, asset management and service continuity.
  • Produce governance packs, executive reporting, decision logs and readiness updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Finance, Technical teams and external suppliers to manage Statements of Work, contract variations, extensions and transition costs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
