The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and rapidly growing orthopaedic medical technology business as a Commercial Manager.
Reporting directly to the UK General Manager, this is a high-profile, strategic commercial role responsible for driving growth across the UK through the development of key customer relationships, commercial partnerships and market access initiatives.
This is not a traditional sales role.
We're looking for an experienced commercial professional who understands the UK healthcare landscape and can confidently engage with senior stakeholders across both the NHS and private sector. You'll play a pivotal role in developing commercial opportunities by combining advanced orthopaedic implant solutions with cutting-edge digital technologies to deliver meaningful value for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to support sustainable UK growth.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key NHS Trusts, private hospital groups and senior healthcare stakeholders.
- Lead strategic commercial discussions around procurement, tenders, contracts and long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to expand adoption of innovative orthopaedic and digital technology solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, marketing and clinical support to ensure successful delivery of commercial objectives.
- Work alongside senior leadership to shape the future commercial direction of the UK business.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, conferences and industry events across the UK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
