Location: Remote
Hours: 40 hours per week

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to provide commercial leadership, contractual expertise and financial stewardship across our Home Office TFM Region 4 contract. Working closely with operational and support teams, you'll help drive financial performance, ensure contractual compliance and deliver value across a high-profile public sector contract.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial management of the contract to achieve or exceed financial performance targets.
  • Act as the contractual expert, providing analysis, advice and support to operational and administrative teams.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks whilst maximising opportunities and income.
  • Manage contract variations, capital works and additional services, ensuring contractual processes are followed.
  • Produce accurate commercial reporting, forecasts, budgets and performance reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Business or a related discipline.
  • RICS qualification or working towards a recognised professional accreditation.
  • LLB or LLM qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and commercial contract management.
  • Knowledge of BICs and SFG20 is a must.
  • Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services or a similar service-led environment.
  • Background in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Contract Management.
  • Understanding of contract law, dispute resolution and FM contractual arrangements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
