Commercial Manager
Location: Glasgow
Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial activities across projects, contracts, and bids.
- Develop and implement commercial and risk management strategies.
- Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with commercial governance and procedures.
- Manage stakeholder and customer relationships.
- Support budget management, reporting, and commercial performance.
- Act as the escalation point for complex commercial issues.
- Mentor, develop, and lead commercial team members.

Accountabilities
- Deliver robust commercial management across complex projects.
- Support the development and implementation of commercial strategy.
- Ensure commercial governance and compliance requirements are met.
- Provide commercial input into bids and contract negotiations.
- Drive commercial performance while managing risk.
- Deliver accurate commercial reporting and management information.
Essential Experience
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Law, or equivalent experience.
- Strong commercial management experience on large, complex projects.
- Proven experience developing and implementing commercial strategy.
- Extensive contract management experience, including bids and tenders.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- People management and team leadership experience.
- Excellent NEC4 contract knowledge.
