Role Overview

Profitability in fleet operations is won in the detail, controlling costs, strengthening supplier agreements, and making sure every commercial process works as effectively as it should. As Commercial Manager, you'll take ownership of those areas while leading the teams responsible for keeping them moving.

You'll oversee cost control and administration within an established UK-wide fleet services operation, combining team leadership with financial analysis, supplier management, contract negotiation, and process improvement. It's a role where you'll have the scope to identify what's costing the business time or money, put stronger processes in place, and directly influence commercial performance.

What's in it for you

  • Salary: GBP 36,000 - GBP 40,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Increased holiday entitlement linked to length of service
  • Healthcare scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Recruitment incentive awards
  • The opportunity to influence profitability, processes, and operational performance across a nationwide fleet operation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
