Location: Hybrid, with regular travel to customer and Nuffield Health sites as required

Competitive salary depending on experience

At Nuffield Health, our purpose is to build a healthier nation. As a Commercial Manager PMI, you will play a key role in growing and strengthening our relationships with Private Medical Insurance (PMI) partners. You will take ownership of a designated insurer account, driving retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction, while also supporting the management of one of our larger strategic insurer relationships.
Working closely with Partnership Development Directors, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of excellent service across Nuffield Health's Hospital and Physiotherapy services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional looking to develop the experience and strategic account management skills required for progression to Partnership Development Director level.
As our Commercial Manager PMI, you will:
- Own and manage a designated PMI account, taking responsibility for relationship management, retention, revenue growth, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Support the management of a major insurer relationship, delivering day-to-day account activity and contributing to the achievement of wider commercial objectives.
- Identify and develop opportunities to grow revenue across Nuffield Health's Hospital and Physiotherapy service lines, supporting delivery of portfolio targets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring customer needs are understood and responded to effectively.
- Manage service performance, customer feedback, and escalations, working with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and contractual commitments are met.
- Contribute customer and market insight to support product development, commercial initiatives, tender activity, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Digital, and Clinical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful account outcomes.

To succeed as our Commercial Manager PMI, we’re looking for:
- Experience in account management, commercial relationship management, or business development, ideally within healthcare, insurance, or a similarly complex service environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful customer relationships while delivering revenue growth and commercial objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with confidence engaging at multiple levels of an organisation.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify opportunities, and translate insight into meaningful action.
- Highly organised and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing positively to team performance and customer success.
