Our Client
Our client is a leading civil engineering, infrastructure and structures contractor.
Immediate Requirement
They currently have an immediate requirement for a Freelance Commercial Manager to manage the delivery of concrete and civil engineering works, on self-delivery projects within the water sector.
This is a long-term opportunity for a Freelance Commercial Manager with civil engineering, concrete and structures experience, working on either water, environmental or flood alleviation projects.

- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification and relevant experience.
- Tier 1 or 2 contractor experience, with self-delivery experience essential.
- FRC, structures and civil engineering experience within the water industry.
- Extensive full project lifecycle NEC contract administration and delivery experience.
- Proven experience managing and building commercial delivery teams.
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills upstream and downstream, with proven influencing skills.
- Demonstrable experience identifying and maximising project and financial opportunities.
- Strong commercial governance, programme & cost planning, cost forecasting & reporting, Risk, opportunity and margin protection experience.
- As this is a long-term opportunity, they will expect previous long-term contracting or employment time in service.
