COMMERCIAL MANAGER THERMAL - ESATAN-TMS

Role purpose:

ITP Engines are recruiting for a Commercial Manager with experience in Thermal Engineering, ideally using the ESATAN-TMS Thermal modelling Suite to join our team in Whetstone - UK on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial management of ESATAN-TMS Thermal analysis software.
  • Management of ESA and ESATAN-TMS customer relationships.
  • Voice of the customer for ESATAN-TMS development.
  • Providing Technical Thermal support for specific customer issues.
  • Assessing problems requiring intervention by development team.
  • Preparation and Delivery of online ESATAN-TMS training courses.
  • Preparation and Delivery of on-site training courses.
  • ESATAN-TMS Demos to prospective customers.
  • Design review of release candidates.
  • Reviewing/approving release and user documentation.
  • Release of updated tool to users.

Who we are looking for:

Essential Criteria

  • Education: BSc or master’s degree in engineering [with a thermal component] or equivalent.
  • Able to work with a multidisciplinary team to promote the ESATAN-TMS thermal analysis tool and manage the customer relationships.
  • 2+ years of experience using the ESATAN-TMS tool set or similar to develop and analyse thermal models.
  • Able to travel on business for short periods throughout Europe to visit and support customers.
  • Experience in a customer facing engineering role.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English.
  • Enthusiastic, can-do approach.

Desirable criteria

  • Engineering related software development/testing experience.
  • Experience in the space industry.
  • Ability to communicate in French.

Who will I work with?

You will work with customers and professionals in our Business Unit, Legal, Customer compliance, Finance, Simulation and Software development teams. The Software development team consists of engineers, mathematicians, physicists and computing experts to provide the broadest technical base for development of professional, scientific software.

What are the working hours?

Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
