Senior Account Manager | UK Based (Home Based)

Food Manufacturing | Retail & New Business Development

£60,000 - £80,000 + 15% Bonus + Pension

Are you a commercially driven Account Manager with a strong own label food manufacturing background and the ability to open doors across UK retail and foodservice?

We're working exclusively with a highly successful international food manufacturing business with a turnover of circa £300m and a long-standing reputation for supplying premium food products into the UK market. With ambitious growth plans, they are now looking to appoint an Account Manager to help expand their commercial footprint across the UK.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a business that already has an established presence with the UK, whilst developing new opportunities across a diverse and innovative product portfolio, including prepared produce, premium bakery products and nutritionally balanced ready meals.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Category Head, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new commercial opportunities across retail and foodservice channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
