Commercial Manager Location: Hybrid – London, Bristol or Dudley Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE Working Pattern: Hybrid

The Role We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a growing commercial function within a leading technology and software business. Reporting into the Commercial Operations Lead, you’ll support a broad range of commercial activities across a software and services portfolio, working closely with sales, delivery, legal, and wider commercial teams.

This is a varied role covering commercial contracts, bids and tenders, customer relationships, risk management, and commercial governance, with the opportunity to play an important role in supporting profitable and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and, where appropriate, negotiate commercial contracts for new and existing customers across software and technology services.
  • Support bid and tender processes, including commercial reviews, risk assessments, and contract negotiations.
  • Work on complex, strategic, and high-value customer opportunities.
  • Ensure commercial agreements comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and relevant public sector regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Support contract management and help protect the organization’s commercial position.
  • Produce reporting around commercial activity, risks, and key issues.
  • Follow established commercial processes to support contract tracking and order booking.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes, controls, and tooling.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, delivery, legal, and other internal stakeholders to achieve positive commercial outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
