About Us

The Chartered Banker Institute is a global professional education body for bankers, based in the UK. Established by Royal Charter, we are a not-for-profit educational charity with a mission to enhance and sustain socially purposeful, responsible, professional banking in the public interest. We provide professional qualifications for retail, commercial and private bankers in the UK and internationally, as well as professional membership for qualified individuals.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organised and commercially focused Commercial Marketing Coordinator to support our commercial and strategic objectives. Working closely with the Commercial Director and Digital Marketing Lead, you will help create engaging commercial and digital marketing content, manage and optimise website content, and support integrated campaigns, events and business development activity. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys combining creativity with practical delivery. You will work with colleagues across the Institute, external partners and senior stakeholders to strengthen commercial engagement, maintain brand consistency and contribute to revenue-generating activity.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality digital content and audience journeys across webpages, email communications, social media and other online channels.
  • Create marketing assets and commercial collateral to support business development, professional development and accreditation activity.
  • Manage and optimise website content to ensure it remains current, engaging and aligned with our brand and commercial priorities.
  • Support campaigns and cross-functional projects from initial concept through to delivery.
  • Coordinate project timelines, stakeholders, governance requirements and risk tracking.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and partner organisations to deliver integrated campaigns and events.
  • Monitor measures such as engagement, attendance, email open rates and campaign effectiveness, using the insights gained to improve future activity.
  • Lead the development and curation of case studies featuring individual members and commercial partners.
  • Help maintain brand consistency and creative quality across campaigns, communications and event materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, communications and the overall audience experience.
  • Ensure enquiries received through the marketing mailbox and social media channels are handled efficiently and effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
