Commercial & Membership Director

Up to £120k pro-rata (5 weeks cover initially) | London Hybrid | poss ongoing contract

We are partnering with a prestigious and high-profile membership-led organisation undergoing a transformation programme during a period of growth. They are looking to appoint a senior leader, initially on a short contract to end October initially with a view to extend.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving organisational performance, overseeing continued commercial growth, member engagement, customer experience, and strategic development. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help shape business strategy and lead the delivery of key organisational objectives. This role will lead a sizeable team, so strong management ability, to lead high-performing teams is essential.

As this role is until end October, you will need to join asap, there is the possibility this will extend to a 6 month contract or longer. Based up to £120k pro-rata this could be on a day-rate or appropriate temporary rate.

Requirements:

  • Proven senior leadership experience within a membership organisation, professional body, charity, association, or comparable environment.
  • Strong commercial and strategic leadership credentials.
  • Track record of delivering growth, transformation, and operational improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and complex organisation.
