Kooth is on a mission to remove the barriers that prevent people from accessing the mental health support they need. As the UK’s longest-established digital mental health provider, we create welcoming, accessible spaces where young people can access personalised, effective support in a safe and anonymous way.
Our early-intervention approach empowers young people aged 10–25 to build resilience, access timely support, and lead fulfilling lives. Today, Kooth’s products are available to over 18 million people across the UK and US, connecting them with qualified counsellors and a range of wellbeing resources when they need support.
Our culture is grounded in our values — Alongside You, Flexible, Compassionate, Committed, and Safe — which guide how we support young people, collaborate as a team, and create solutions that meet communities where they are.
You’ll be joining at an exciting time as we continue to grow our product-led strategy and expand access to digital mental health support through Soluna, our innovative behavioural health service for young people aged 13–25.
About the role
We’re looking for a Commercial Operations Associate to join our Commercial Operations team and play an important role in supporting our tender, procurement and commercial processes.
This is a junior role with exposure across multiple areas of the business. You’ll help coordinate tender responses, manage opportunities and procurement platforms, support market engagement activity, and provide research and analysis to the wider commercial leadership team.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and process-driven, and who wants to build a career within a commercial environment. You don’t need to be a procurement expert from day one — what matters most is your ability to learn quickly, manage competing priorities and take ownership of your work.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal and Delivery, helping to keep commercial activity moving and ensuring we meet important deadlines.
What you'll be doing
Tender capture & forecasting
- Support the tender capture and evaluation process, helping inform bid/no-bid decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tender dashboards and opportunity forecasts.
- Work with regional teams to maintain data quality and coordinate regular opportunity updates.
- Support tender review meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
Tender response coordination
- Coordinate the development and delivery of high-quality, compliant proposals within tight customer deadlines.
- Bring together contributions from teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Commercial, Legal and Delivery.
- Work with regional teams to assess tender requirements and ensure proposals align with our services and business priorities.
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of TenderGPT, working alongside our data science team to incorporate best practice.
Tender opportunity review
- Monitor and review new tender opportunities through platforms such as Contracts Advance and Find-a-Tender.
- Support the team in assessing and escalating relevant opportunities.
- Help manage Contracts Advance, ensuring effective use and adherence to agreed processes.
- Monitor the tender inbox and coordinate communications, clarification questions and procurement updates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About you
We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and momentum to busy environments.

You'll be someone who:
- Is highly organised and pays close attention to detail.
- Enjoys working with processes and making sure things are done accurately.
- Can work independently and take ownership without needing constant direction.

- Isn't afraid to respectfully challenge or chase stakeholders when actions need to be completed.
- Is solution-focused and able to navigate ambiguity.
- Communicates openly and directly while building positive working relationships.
- Is curious and willing to learn — particularly when it comes to procurement, tendering and the commissioning landscape.
Experience in all of the following isn't essential. We're particularly interested in your ability to learn, organise and make things happen.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced operational, commercial, sales or coordination environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines or deliverables simultaneously.
- Experience working with senior internal or external stakeholders.

- Experience coordinating written submissions, proposals, bids or similar documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A degree or equivalent experience.
