About The Role
Within the M&E estate BT spends over £100M in Capex per annum supporting BT network and maintaining our brilliant service. This role is to manage our suppliers to ensure they perform to the required standard and held to account when needed. It also building partnerships with key suppliers to allow BT to move at pace and innovate ahead of the market by close working relationships. The role will be working with central partnerships team who support in contractual renewals of our largest contracts.
This role is hybrid (3 days in office) & based in BT's Birmingham office
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of supplier contracts, ensuring contractual obligations, performance targets and governance requirements are met.
- Lead regular supplier performance reviews, driving actions to improve service, performance and delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with operational, commercial and supplier stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver business outcomes.
- Monitor supplier performance, identifying risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support contract renewals and change activity, providing commercial and operational input to achieve the best outcome for BT.
- Ensure suppliers operate in line with contractual commitments, BT policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier escalations and performance issues through to resolution.
- Use data and reporting to provide insight, challenge performance and support decision-making.
